A waterfall in the canyoning country above Pokhara

Canyoning near Pokhara

Abseil and slide down a monsoon-fed canyon.

The canyons above Pokhara run with clear water most of the year. A guided descent mixes abseiling down the falls, short jumps into pools, and natural slides, at a pace the group is comfortable with.

No experience is needed, just a reasonable head for heights. The team fits you with a wetsuit, harness, and helmet and walks you through each drop.

Good to know
Do I need experience?+

No. The guides teach each move before you do it, and you can walk around anything you would rather skip.

Is it safe after rain?+

The team checks the water level and calls it off if the flow is unsafe. Safety comes before the schedule.
