Pokhara on the shore of Phewa Lake

Pokhara Sightseeing Day Tour

The whole valley in a day, the way locals would show you.

Pokhara packs a lot into a small valley, and a single well-planned day covers the best of it. We start before dawn at Sarangkot for the Annapurna skyline, then work through the lake, the Peace Pagoda, the falls and caves, and finish away from the tourist strip in the old town.

It is the easiest way to get your bearings, and a good first day before a trek or road trip.

Highlights
  • Sunrise over the Annapurnas from Sarangkot
  • Boat on Phewa Lake to Tal Barahi temple
  • Peace Pagoda, Davis Falls, and Gupteshwor Cave

Good to know
Is this too much for one day?+

It is full but relaxed. We can drop any stop you are not keen on and spend longer where you want.

Can it start later?+

Yes. Skip the sunrise and we begin mid-morning with the lake instead.
