Kapuche Glacier Lake Trek

The lowest glacial lake in Nepal, a short trek from Pokhara.

Kapuche is the trek everyone is talking about: a turquoise glacial lake at just 2,546 m, sitting under a sheer wall of ice and rock, reachable in a couple of days from Pokhara.

The route runs through Sikles, one of the largest Gurung villages in the region, then down to the lake. Short, scenic, and still relatively quiet.
