    Kande to Australian Camp

    An hour's drive to Kande, then a steady climb through forest to the meadow at Australian Camp for sunset on Annapurna South and Machapuchare.

  2. Day 2On foot + By road

    Dhampus to Phedi

    A gentle traverse to the Gurung village of Dhampus, then down the stone steps to Phedi, where the vehicle meets you for the short drive back to Pokhara.

Getting there

We drive you from Pokhara to Kande, about an hour, where the walking starts. It is a couple of easy hours up to the ridge each day, with a guide.

Yes. It is one of the easiest treks in the region, with short walking days and no altitude.

Can it be done in a day?+

It can, but the overnight on the ridge is the best part, with sunset and sunrise on the range.
