The view over Pokhara and Phewa Lake from Kahun Danda

Kahun Danda Hike

A short climb to the view tower on Pokhara's quiet ridge.

Kahun Danda is the hill the visitors miss, a forested ridge on the east side of Pokhara with a stone view tower at the top. The climb runs through community forest past a small shrine, and from the tower the whole valley opens up with the range behind it.

A good leg-stretch and a quiet half day away from Lakeside.

  • The stone view tower above Pokhara
  • Quiet community forest trail
  • Valley and Annapurna views without the crowds
